In the framework of the T2V project, we have carried out a small project about easy subtitles, where we have applied the approach designed in the T2V project to subtitles of a documentary. The After In the framework of the T2V project, we have carried out a small project in Italy about easy subtitles. We have subtitled an English documentary and an Italian documentary into E2R Italian, and adopted an approach that combines the reception and perception studies conducted with E2R written texts and the user-centric assessment of the Train2Validate project.
The subtitled videos were submitted to a validation team composed of one trained facilitator coordinating five trained validators with cognitive disabilities.
